Hit the streets and canals of Bangkok on this Thailand trip, bargaining up a storm in the markets and tasting local treats. Then fly to the relaxing beaches of Phuket, where you can unwind from the capital’s frenetic pace beneath the south-east Asian sun.
Day 1
Depart North America
Depart North America for your flight to Thailand.
Day 2
Bangkok
On arrival, look for a driver holding a sign with your name. You will be transferred to your accommodation and the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 3
Floating Market
This morning, enjoy a visit to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market which dates back to 1866 when King Rama IV ordered that a canal 32 kilometers long be dug here to connect the Mae Klong and Tacheen. The Floating Market is an ideal place for you to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables and other items from small boats. You will also be able to see traditional Thai houses and the way locals use boats in their everyday lives.
Day 4
Bangkok
Exploring Bangkok at night brings out the true excitement, beauty, and mystery of the city. Meet your group at Krung Thonburi BTS Skytrain Station, then set out with your guide in an open-air tuk-tuk to visit some of Bangkok's iconic sites and markets. Throughout the evening, stop to taste its legendary street food, noodles, snacks, and desserts - come hungry! Visit the exterior of Wat Pho, Wat Prayoon and the Giant Swing at Wat Suthat. Hopping out of the tuk-tuk, wander through local night markets on foot, such as the Klong San Market and the 24-hour flower market. Some surprises will be in store! Return to your hotel around 11:30 pm.
Day 5
Phuket
On arrival, look for a driver holding a sign with your name. You will be transferred to your accommodation and the rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 6 - 9
Phuket
These days are yours to experience Phuket as you like. You can take advantage of any optional activities available or simply relax.
Day 10
Depart Thailand
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to North America.
